NetEase reveals new game lineups at its sixth annual product launch

NetEase, Inc., a prominent Chinese online game and internet service provider, has recently showcased its diversified portfolio of upcoming and existing mobile and desktop games at its 6th Annual Product Launch event.

As per reports, the online event saw the company revealing plans and layouts for more than 60 of its products. The Chinese firm assures its consumers that it is committed to remaining a user-oriented content provider. NetEase further shed light on its strategic plans on becoming a leader in the online gaming space and how it intends to grow its overall visibility.

Reportedly, the Chinese company is working on some interesting mobile game projects with world-renowned IP owners like Pokémon Company, CCP Games, and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. Some of the most talked about titles from this lineup includes Pokémon Quest, EVE: Echoes, and Harry Potter: Magic Awakened.

NetEase is also continuing to cultivate and expand its legacy game franchises like Westward Journey, the Fantasy Westward Journey, Tianxia, Justice franchises, and Ghost. It is planning to conduct new themed-tournaments, expansion packs, cross-IP collaborations with prominent content owners.

Apart from this, NetEase unveiled brand-new titles across a broad range of genres for its regional market including EGO Effect, Code: T, Ace Racer, Westworld: Awakening, and The Ragnarök.

Prior to this news, NetEase’s cloud music platform had managed to made headlines when it revealed that it has inked a digital music distribution deal with Japan’s most acclaimed animation studio house, Studio Ghibli. 

According to the agreement, NetEase Cloud Music would become Studio Ghibli’s digital music distributor in the Chinese mainland. Studio Ghibli’s music catalog contains soundtrack and albums from its acclaimed animated feature films like Spirited Away, My Neighbor Totoro, Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea, and Howl’s Moving Castle.
