iXperience raises $2.5 million in a Series A financing round

Cape Town-headquartered edtech firm, iXperience, has reportedly raised a sum of $2.5 million through a Series A financing round. The initiative was led by Caleo Private Equity and Kalon Venture Partners.

According to Clive Butkow, the CEO of Kalon Venture Partners, the investment in the field of innovative edtech is attributed to the company’s unique product offering and its talented team. Kalon’s decision for investment was strongly driven by innovative technology platform, that surpasses what is presently in the industry, and the extraordinary quality of the entrepreneurs.

Butkow further stated that the company is thrilled to invest for both, plausible financial returns as well as the positive social effect that the Kalon will have in contributing to and propelling the sector of digital education.

According to reports, iXperience will use the investment financing for the expansion of its team, development of its innovative technology platform, for the launch of initiatives across different markets, and for building its global strategic partnerships division.

The company claims to have more than 2500 partner and alumni with consumers and institutions alike for bridging the gap between conventional education and the skills that are required by companies. iXperience utilizes its proprietary technology platform for ensuring the success of the students via the learning experience.

For the uninitiated, iXperience was established in 2013 by graduates of Yale University, comprising Rafi Khan and Aaron Fuchs.
