Han Sung Motor rolls out online ESG campaign called ‘Dream Green Town’

Han Sung Motor, Mercedes-Benz's official local dealership in South Korea, has reportedly launched ‘Dream Green Town’, an ESG or environmental, social, as well as corporate governance online campaign focused on ‘environmental characteristics’ established by a quiz intended for Generation Z and millennials.

The campaign was designed by mentors and students from Han Sung Motor's Dream Gream scholarship program for talented artists.

A ‘DIY Tutor’ feature of the Dream Green Town page gives information on how people may make small changes to the things they use on a daily basis to help the environment on the basis their respective environmental character.

Starting in June, the internet campaign will continue for three months.

Han Sung Motor led a project called ‘2021 Young Designer CSV’ (creating shared value) with the Korea Mecenat Association to promote Dream Gream mentors' approach to designing and making things with social values, as well as establish their own brand.

For the last 37 years, Han Sung Motor has been a major player in the import automobile industry in Korea. Mercedes-Benz operates nine certified used car dealerships, 27 service centers, as well as 24 showrooms across the country.

The Cheongdam dealership in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, features a Mercedes Cafe as well as premium S-Class, AMG, and Maybach spaces.

The biggest Mercedes service facility in Seoul is the Yongdap facility in Seongdong-gu. It offers expedited service and is open twenty-four hours a day, every day of the year. It also provides repairs for AMG cars exclusively.

For the last 11 years, the dealership has funded 40 eligible middle and high school kids who have artistic talent with the help of the Dream Gream scholarship campaign. Additionally, it has been recognized for its cultural contributions with a prize from the Korea Mecenat Association and a social contribution prize from the city of Seoul.
