Google to open its first store in New York this coming summer 
American technology frontrunner, Google will reportedly open the doors of its first-ever physical retail store this summer in Chelsea, New York City.



Sources close to Google have apparently quoted that the new Google Store would be a space where customers could experience the company’s hardware and services through a helpful approach.



For the uninitiated, customers will now be able to browse and purchase a wide array of products developed by Google, including Pixel phones, Nest products, Pixelbooks, and Fitbit devices, among various others at the Google Store. The shoppers can also visit the online store, GoogleStore.com to buy the products, and can pick up their orders in store.



Following the inauguration of the store, visitors would be able to experience the integration of Google products and services in various immersive ways throughout the retail space.



Reports also reveal that Google would be employing a host of experts on hand to assist the visitors in fully utilizing their device services, including troubleshooting issues, fixing cracked device screens, and aiding the customers with installations.



Speaking of the launch, the VP and Direct Channels & Membership at Google, Jason Rosenthal, has reportedly disclosed that the team would be offering help in order to cater to the specific and personalized needs of their customers, irrespective of long-time Pixel users or those curious about Nest displays or workshop participation.



As per sources, Google was in talks of getting into the physical retail space over the past years and had piloted pop-up shops to help people browse new products upon their first announcement. It had also come up with a mini experience concession within the Best Buy stores. However, the multinational company has now inched above these previously chosen small trials to focus on its website for its products or has sold with the help of regular retail channels to exhibit its hardware and services.
