Vinetree Corporation, developer of the top gaming social media app in South Korea, GameTalkTalk, has announced a new blockchain project called the ‘Ludena Protocol’. It is essentially a gamified social platform for the gamers across the world.
The main aim of the project is to develop a comprehensive gaming-centric platform with different aspects that includes the social media Dapp for rewards, digital item exchange without fee and a P2P gaming platform for matchmaking.
Apparently, GameTalkTalk has rewarded its gamers who play games like Clash Royale and Minecraft for more than 7 years. The users obtain stars or digital assets for finishing the in-game missions or even downloading newer games. The stars after getting accumulated are usually used to buy gift cards from various stores such as Burger King, Google Play store and Starbucks.
The opportunity had been made available to all the gamers within the Korean market earlier. However, GameTalkTalk in the Q2 of 2020 will be made accessible to all the players worldwide. After the global version of GameTalkTalk releases, the digital asset that has been rewarded is going to be converted from the stars to LDN. It is a token to be used in the Ludena Protocol ecosystem.
The algorithm of the app checks the mobile gaming information of the users like the money spent for every downloaded game and the frequency the user plays every game. This data is then collected and further used to match with gaming firms to the players who are more likely to spend their money and time in the game genres.
GameTalkTalk has reportedly accumulated more than 200 leading game publisher over the years. it has also significantly aided these firms to overcome the challenges posed in marketing by targeting their money better towards attracting consumers.
