R0ku share price falls by 12% as Apple TV+ launches for $4.99
Earlier this week on Tuesday, R0ku share price fell by over 12%. The drop in share price came right after Apple announced its Apple TV+ on September 10th.

Apple would launch its streaming service on November 1st and would be free for a year for users who buy iPhone, Mac or Apple TV.

R0ku provides streaming hardware and also has its own channel on its device which supports Amazon Prime Video, Netflix and many more.

The share price of Netflix fell by 3% on Tuesday after Apple’s CEO Tim Cook announced at its launch event would cost $4.99 a month for an entire family.  Some websites offer free movie streaming and you wont need to pay a penny like Netflix, Amazon Prime, Apple Tv or Disney Plus.

Apple has been witnessing a drop in sales for its iPhone and providing subscription services would grow its business.

The Tech giant would be spending millions of dollars in providing its users with original content. Earlier this year Netflix raised its monthly subscription cost to $8.99 a month for its basic plan while its premium plan goes all the way up to $13.99 a month.

R0ku, Netflix and other streaming service have seen its worst stock price this year and shares in Netflix are down by 18% for the same time last year.

Disney+ service would launch on November 12th for $6.99 per month which also seen its stock price fall by 3%
