EVera Recruitment nominated as the specialist partner for Britishvolt

Britain’s leading investor in battery technologies, Britishvolt has recently announced opting EVera Recruitment as its sole partner for recruitment. EVera Recruitment, which operates from Warwickshire, UK, sits as Europe's only dedicated electric vehicle and battery recruiter.

The company houses a team that has deep expertise in understanding the specialist skills required for conducting battery development, manufacturing, and research, and will be responsible for handling the recruitment for the gigaplant exclusively for Britishvolt.

Reports state that Britishvolt is on a mission to make UK the main center for global battery technologies. It intends to strengthen the country’s automotive and energy storage sector with the first UK-based battery gigaplant, with production scheduled to commence in 2023.

Speaking on the move, Martin Reynolds, Britishvolt’s Chief Governance Officer, said that the company intends to build the first battery gigaplant in the UK that will be responsible for supplying high-quality lithium-ion batteries. For this, it would need specialist partners. EVera Recruitment comes as a great fit for the company that can recruit and find people with highly-specialized skill sets.

Moreover, the EVera team possesses a good track record in the electrified vehicle and battery industry. Britishvolt plans to utilize all their skills and knowledge to grow its business, added Reynolds.

According to Steve Doyle, Chief Executive Officer, EVera Recruitment, the company is proud to work with Britishvolt as their recruitment partner. This comes as a strategically important and exciting project for the company. Gigaplant recruitment is the company’s specialism and has a thorough understanding of the technical, rare, and specific skills required to develop battery cells.

Apart from EVera, Britishvolt has also partnered with Marsh Commercial to insure its gigaplant. The new facility will now be boosted by risk and insurance support from Marsh across various lines of placement. The battery company will also receive technical risk management to fulfill all unique complexities.
