Escoffier to offer e-Learning tools to hospitality customers for free

Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts, which is a leading provider of culinary education and training on both campus and online, has recently announced support and relief by giving free access to all its propriety e-learning tools for the hospitality industry that has been relatively hit hard during the COVID-19 outbreak.

Apparently, both the key partners like Omni Hotels & Resorts and relatively new customers from the hospitality industry can have access to all the foundational content form the online programs of Escoffier to support the kitchen workers at this point of time.

CEO and President of Triumph Higher Education Group and Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts, Tracy Lorenz said that this has proven to be an unprecedented time for the institutes’ partners within the hospitality sector. The institutes are coming together to provide their support for all the restaurants that have been forced to shut down owing to the COVID-19 crisis and the following layoffs as well as furloughs, or even temporarily reducing kitchen staff.

According to reliable sources, Escoffier has now made its e-Learning content free to the staff of the hospitality industry and it majorly includes more than 45 culinary foundational videos, recipes, assessment tools and videos that cover essential knife skills, proper sanitation, as well as the importance of mise en place, soups, stocks, protein and vegetable cookery. The e-Learning resources are essentially a part of the company’s Boulder campus, a comprehensive professional online program by Escoffier that was launched in 2015.

Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts’ Chief Academic Officer stated that several culinary workers have been struggling during the coronavirus spread and the institution wished to show support by having shared the relevant content. The institution expects them to see back in the kitchen working soon but they could also use the tools to sharpen their knowledge and culinary skills during the lockdown in the meantime.
